Article 1855. Termination after the Occurrence of an Insured Event
(1) A clause providing for termination for no cause of the insurance after an insured event has occurred is valid only if it grants the right to terminate to both parties and the policy is not one of personal insurance.
(2) Both the clause entitling to termination referred to in para. (1), and the exercise of any right to terminate must be reasonable.
(3) Any right to terminate shall expire if the party in question has not given written notice of termination to the other party within 2 months after becoming aware of the insured event.
(4) The insurance cover shall terminate 2 weeks after notice is given.
