Article 1849. Suspension of the insurance period and termination of the insurance

(1) a), without payment of the premium being made, the insurer shall be entitled to terminate the insurance, provided that the notices required by the same articles state the right of the insurer to terminate the insurance.
(3) The insurance shall be deemed to be terminated by operation of law if the insurer does not bring an action for payment of the premium or a tranche of a premium within 2 months after expiry of the period mentioned in Article 1847 para. (1) b), or, as the case may be, in Article 1848 para. (1) a).
