Article 453. Notion of patrimony

(1) The patrimony represents the totality of rights and obligations of a pecuniary nature (which may be valued in money), taken as a sum of interlinked assets and liabilities belonging to certain natural and legal persons.
(2) All property of a natural or legal person are part of its patrimony.
