Article 9. Grounds of rights and civil obligations
(1) Civil rights and obligations arise under law, as well as under acts of natural and legal persons which, although not provided by law, generate civil rights and obligations based on the principles of civil legislation.
(2) Civil rights and obligations arise:
a) under contracts and other juridical acts;
b) under acts issued by a public authority where the law provides that they are grounds for civil rights and obligations;
c) under a judgment which establishes rights and obligations;
d) based on creation and acquisition of property under grounds which are not prohibited by law;
e) based on the development of objects of intellectual property;
f) based on causation of loss to another person;
g) based on unjustified enrichment;
h) under other facts of natural and legal persons and certain events which under law trigger civil legal effects.
