Article 2. Relationships governed by civil legislation
(1) Civil legislation determines the legal status of participants to the civil circuit, the grounds of acquisition of ownership and its exercise, governs contractual and other obligations, other pecuniary and personal non-pecuniary relationships between the subjects of civil legal relationships.
(2) Family, residential, labor, natural resource exploitation and environmental relationships falling under paragraph (1) are governed by this Code and other laws.
(3) Relationships to exercise and protection of human rights and fundamental freedoms, other non-pecuniary values are governed by this Coe and other laws in light of the provisions and principles set out in international treaties relating to human rights and fundamental freedoms.
(4) The subjects of civil legal relationships are natural and legal persons, whether or not they are a business.
